It must take some serious dedication to maintain and preserve such a poorly built car. It looks goofy as hell and I love it.

Yes! A ’77 Pacer wagon like that would be my choice if I were to seek a Pacer to own - the wagon style is a bit less dumpy, and the ’78 facelift just made it look uglier.

‘76-ish Dad rented a Pacer to drive from Iowa City to Kalamazoo MI after the Ark(‘50-something Ford wagon) and Hudson proved untenable. He always did road trips overnight so I & my sis would sleep. I remember laying on my back under that huge glass watching the stars as he drove thru the night. Beautiful.
